Student Life Begins

I am officially a NTU GMBA student now!!!

I have enrolled, registered for classes, went through two orientations and am now going to classes. It is very exhausting on Tuesdays because I have 4 classes and I am going to be at school for at least 12 hours!!!! @_@ Oh, the life of a student again.
Right now, My schedule is this:

Mondays: Leadership Practice, Social Entrepreneurship, Chinese
Tuesdays: International Marketing Management, Managerial Economics, Managerial Accounting, Marketing Management
Wednesday: Chinese
Thursday: China Financial Industry
Friday: Chinese

I have a total of 13 credits, but I am not sure if I should take another class on Saturday, in which would make my credits to a total of 16. That is probably toooo much since my Tuesday classes are very demanding, but I can change my classes until the 26th, so we will see what happens.

I met a lot of wonderful people here and I am excited to be a part of this class, program, and school. I just wish I was more business orientated, but I will learn. ^_^ Also, I wish I had a kitchen, so I could eat healthier, but that is a whole another story!

Bridge Building

In 16 days, I will be in Taiwan. I will be super jet-lagged and probably super stressed out because of the upcoming enrollment into mi new school, National Taiwan University. I have been accepted into their GMBA program and will remain in Taiwan for 2 years until mi completion in June of 2011. It is really weird to think that I am going back to Asia. I am super excited, but really hate the idea of leaving mi family and friends again. I must look towards the brighter-side of these experiences that I am going to be facing because I know in the end there will be a positive outcome. Once I have completed mi degree then I can be with the one I love. Mi future will have goals and purposes, it is actually a weird concept, but a good one to have. I went to university so I could go to Japan. I went to Japan and lived there for 2 years. Then, it took me a whole year to figure out what I was going to do and in 16 days mi life will start a new chapter. In 16 days, I will start building the half of mi life bridge and hopefully in 2 years it will connect with mi other half.

El Cinco De Mayo

First of all, Happy Birthday to Annieちゃん!!!!

Secondly,
FELIZ EL CINCO DE MAYO
NON-Happy Mexican Independence Day!!!

"While Cinco de Mayo has limited significance nationwide in Mexico, the date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. However, a common misconception in the United States is that Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, which actually is September 16 (dieciséis de septiembre in Spanish), the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico."

"The holiday commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of Mexican General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín."
Good Job General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín!!!!

In celebration, I took a picture of mi little pepper plant!!! YAY!!!

I just felt like writing and putting up pictures of things that I have done last month and the beginning of this one.

Birthday Dinners:

The Fam took mi to Carlos O'Kelly's in St. Joe, MO...which is the closest to us. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good and the worst part was the service. Let us say that we aren't ever going to go there and suggest that no one ever goes there. The other restaurants in Lawrence, KS or even Wichita, KS are WONDERFUL...just don't ever go to ST. JOE!!! ES MUY MAL!!!
Other than that I really liked going on the little road trip with mi family and celebrating mi quarter of a century b-day!!! After coming home I got some lovely presents!!! ^_^ HRS!!!

Cam took mi to Lawrence because I wanted Montana Mikes for mi dinner birthday!!! The only one that is close is in Lawrence. I haven't been there in 3.5 years and I still loooooove that town. Things have changed, but it is still a town that is filled with happiness!!! I ate mi bacon swiss mushroom burger with lovely fries and THE RANCH!!! YUMS!!! Afterwards, we walked down Mass Str. and looked at the stores we liked when we were in Uni. Then went to our favorite ice cream place....they had mi favorite flavor...TURTLE ice cream. We both got double scoops on a waffle cone. Cam got Cookie Monster and Birthday Cake flavors while I got Turtle and Birthday Cake. DELICIOUS. It was an awesome time.
Good Company!!!! Good Food!!!! Good Memories!!!

Playing in the PARKville:

One day mommy suggested that we should go to the park....and so we did. ^_^

Birthday Month ^_^

Davey informed me that I haven't had a blog post for this month and since it was the last day to do that I guess I should. :P

Oh, Mi Birthday Month is over, but you know what? wuAt?
It was a good one.

I was able to spend 3 weeks with mi Bubba...
that was the best part!!! I really enjoy spending time with him, life seems more complete having him around.
The part I didn't like was saying goodbye to him at the airport. I swear that is the hardest part. I love going and seeing him there at the airport, but the leaving part where we realize I have to jump on an airplane, go back to the States, and then our conversations are back being through the internet...just isn't fair!!! I am really lucky though that I was able to go. I spend Easter and mi birthday with mi Bubba. HRS!!!

Anyways, here is some pictures....^_^

3月が来た!

March has come and before it becomes Officially Spring on the 21st, Mother Nature has decided to bring snow. We haven't really had snow since January in my area, but I have to say is that I hope...THAT was the last snow day for the season!! I am really tired of the snow...Yes, it can be pretty and I don't have to get out in it, but come on!!!! I want spring!!! If we could have 2 seasons: Fall and Spring that would be awesome...maybe even for New Zealand???? Hey, life isn't perfect ne. Anyways, the snow fell on the first day of March and my family decided to make a snowman. We call him..."Happy Monday"...even though we created him on Saturday it's an inside joke for mi family. SOooooo, Happy Monday!!!!

Mi Davey's Snowman...aren't they cutie??? YES!!! ^_^ XXXXXX

Okay, I know mi snowman isn't something you would see in the Sapporo Snow Festival, but I am just surprised that I was able to make it because it didn't want to stick together. No fatty snowmen @ my house. Heee HEeeee!!!
On a side note: The Weather Betta Be Gorgeous in APRIL!!! because it's MI BIRTHDAY MONTH!!!! ^_^ ~BIG SMILES~

Year of the COW!!!

Happy 2009!!! The Year of the Cow!!! Moooooo!!!

The year of the Rat as finished....I have a feeling that this year is going to be good. If it doesn't it better!!! I can't believe it is already 2009! I am getting soooo old. I graduated college about 3 years ago and high school 7 years ago!!! Ahhhh!!!! A lot of things has happened to me, since high school and even college that I am thankful for. I was able to accomplish mi dream of going to Japan on the JET Programme for 2 years, I have an amazing boyfriend who I love A LOT, a lovable family and faithful friends. I guess I am still young and there are more dreams that I would like to accomplish in the years to come, but right now I think I am just going to focus on 2009 and try to find out what I want in mi life.
New Year's Eve:
The fam went over to Chris's house and had Surf-n-Turf!!! King Crab Legs and Steak (1.5 inches thick)...YUMS!!!! We celebrated by being together with lovely drinks and food. I talked to mi Davey, he was celebrating his New Year in London with millions of the other people. It is nice to be able to wish him a Happy New Year!!! I sent him to bed at 10:15 p.m. (my time, 4:15 a.m. his time). Sorry Bubba for making you stay up late!!! ~chu~ XXXXX!!! At midnight, we were watching Indian Jones the fourth one, which is a really crappy movie and it made me want to cry a little. South Park's portrayal of Indian Jones being violated by G. Lucas and S. Spielberg was very accurate!!!! Anyways, I wished mommy a Happy New Year, since the other people were sleeping. I went to bed at around 1 and got up at 11-ish. It was a regular family celebration together. Alyssa went out that night with her friend, but she came over on New Year's Day, in which we made dinner etc.
Happy New Year to Everyone!!!

Christmas 2008

This Christmas has been an interesting one. At first, we were NOT going to have any presents and celebrate Christmas with food and family, but then we realized the true meaning of Christmas 3 days before Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is...PRESENTS!!! So, we all decided that we would give each other presents because it just didn't feel right if we didn't. ^_^
It was a nice little Christmas.

Christmas Eve: Mommy went to a party with Chris. Alyssa, Caeden, and I stayed at home and did our family festivities....Yummy Food. Sausage Balls, Spinach Balls, Cheese Ball, Shrimp Butter, Almond Bark Candy, Cookies, and Little Tuna Fish Sandwiches. This year I made some of mi sandwiches into Davey! ^_^ Caeden opened one gift, we watched Santa Clause 1 and 2, and the ending of It's A Wonderful Life. Afterwards, we went to bed because we had to wait for Santa Claus. ^_^

Christmas: We all got up pretty late for a Christmas morning about 8-ish. I automatically signed on so I could talk to mi bubba and wish him a Merry Christmas. Plus, I wanted him to open his gifts. Alyssa made biscuits and gravy...Yums!!! We ate our breakfast and waited until Chris came over, so we can open our gifts. Brewster came also (Chris's dog). It was a lazy day filled with yumminess. Caeden went to his dad's house after lunch, so he could have another Christmas. Overall, I had a nice Christmas and I thank everyone who shared it with me. ^_^
