Year of the COW!!!

Happy 2009!!! The Year of the Cow!!! Moooooo!!!

The year of the Rat as finished....I have a feeling that this year is going to be good. If it doesn't it better!!! I can't believe it is already 2009! I am getting soooo old. I graduated college about 3 years ago and high school 7 years ago!!! Ahhhh!!!! A lot of things has happened to me, since high school and even college that I am thankful for. I was able to accomplish mi dream of going to Japan on the JET Programme for 2 years, I have an amazing boyfriend who I love A LOT, a lovable family and faithful friends. I guess I am still young and there are more dreams that I would like to accomplish in the years to come, but right now I think I am just going to focus on 2009 and try to find out what I want in mi life.
New Year's Eve:
The fam went over to Chris's house and had Surf-n-Turf!!! King Crab Legs and Steak (1.5 inches thick)...YUMS!!!! We celebrated by being together with lovely drinks and food. I talked to mi Davey, he was celebrating his New Year in London with millions of the other people. It is nice to be able to wish him a Happy New Year!!! I sent him to bed at 10:15 p.m. (my time, 4:15 a.m. his time). Sorry Bubba for making you stay up late!!! ~chu~ XXXXX!!! At midnight, we were watching Indian Jones the fourth one, which is a really crappy movie and it made me want to cry a little. South Park's portrayal of Indian Jones being violated by G. Lucas and S. Spielberg was very accurate!!!! Anyways, I wished mommy a Happy New Year, since the other people were sleeping. I went to bed at around 1 and got up at 11-ish. It was a regular family celebration together. Alyssa went out that night with her friend, but she came over on New Year's Day, in which we made dinner etc.
Happy New Year to Everyone!!!

Christmas 2008

This Christmas has been an interesting one. At first, we were NOT going to have any presents and celebrate Christmas with food and family, but then we realized the true meaning of Christmas 3 days before Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is...PRESENTS!!! So, we all decided that we would give each other presents because it just didn't feel right if we didn't. ^_^
It was a nice little Christmas.

Christmas Eve: Mommy went to a party with Chris. Alyssa, Caeden, and I stayed at home and did our family festivities....Yummy Food. Sausage Balls, Spinach Balls, Cheese Ball, Shrimp Butter, Almond Bark Candy, Cookies, and Little Tuna Fish Sandwiches. This year I made some of mi sandwiches into Davey! ^_^ Caeden opened one gift, we watched Santa Clause 1 and 2, and the ending of It's A Wonderful Life. Afterwards, we went to bed because we had to wait for Santa Claus. ^_^

Christmas: We all got up pretty late for a Christmas morning about 8-ish. I automatically signed on so I could talk to mi bubba and wish him a Merry Christmas. Plus, I wanted him to open his gifts. Alyssa made biscuits and gravy...Yums!!! We ate our breakfast and waited until Chris came over, so we can open our gifts. Brewster came also (Chris's dog). It was a lazy day filled with yumminess. Caeden went to his dad's house after lunch, so he could have another Christmas. Overall, I had a nice Christmas and I thank everyone who shared it with me. ^_^
